Photography Club

Sun City Texas

Vice-President: Mark Holly.  Mark and his wife Marie, moved to Sun City a year ago.  His interest in photography began with a continuing education course and eventually led to having a darkroom so they both could develop their own black and white prints.  He brings experience and enthusiasm to the position.

Director of Communications:  Marge Odell.  Marge and her husband moved here from Salt Lake City.  They also lived in Austin prior to Salt Lake.  Their Daughter and her family live in Austin so coming here was not a hard decision.  She is an active lady who does many good things in the community.  She says she started photography “late in Life”.  So did I and my photos show it.  Hers are outstanding.

Director of Education:  John Miles.  John and his wife, Ruth, moved to Sun City nine years ago from Scottsdale, AZ.  John grew up in Central Texas and yes, he is a graduate of UT.  Their son and his family live in Reno, NV.  Bailey, their dog evidently gets plenty of attention as he should because he is a handsome one.  John is quite active as a member and teacher in the computer club, the digital camera club as well as our club.

President:  Barbara Wilder – Prior to Sun City, Barbara and her husband operated a pottery business in Texas for over 35 years selling their products throughout the nation..  After his death, she settled here fulltime.  She has been here part and full time since 2001.  She and her present husband Roddy are quite active in various SCTX clubs.  We can expect good things for the photography club with her as president.
