Feature Photographer Sherry McRea

Ever since I was 10 years old photography has been important to me. I always had a camera of some sort but knew nothing about how to take photographs. Then as I got older and a little wiser I started to pay attention to details and fell in love with it even more. Thus began my journey with this wonderful hobby.

36 years ago I was in Houston on a vacation where I met and married my husband. We have one daughter, Heather Star, who has recently informed us that we are about to become grandparents. My parents and family live in Illinois.

I am so grateful to the many friends here in Sun City for helping me improve my photography. I love to shoot sunsets, birds, do macro shots as well as work with abstract photography. My goal is to become an excellent photographer.
