In my younger years, I was an athlete before student, playing in football, track, wrestling, swimming and diving. I then became student before father, graduating with a Mechanical Engineering degree, with thanks to my guiding and supportive spouse. Upon starting our family, we cataloged the children's growth meticulously with several point and shoot camera's while at home and travel around the states.
In 1995 we purchased our first digital camera, just before traveling to Australia. Being an engineer, didn't help much as I tried to use the camera by trial and error during the trip. In the ensuing years my wife tried to get me to compose pictures i.e think about it before you snap the photo as it reduces the expense to process the images.

Many years later, I find myself retired in beautiful Sun City with lots of time and interested in improving my photographic skills. I joined the photo club in 2008 and slowly absorbing information and improving skill by listening to others in the club and practicing, over and over again. The improvement in technology has greatly improved my output as now I can erase the not so good photos.
I
love to share images with others who may enjoy the things that I may be
lucky enough to capture with a camera.
