After a career in the public schools of San Francisco and the California semiconductor industry, my wife and I moved to Austin in 1994. Six years ago we moved to Sun City when we found our dream home on Legacy Hills golf course.
I joined the Sun City Photography Club two years ago to learn about shooting images in RAW format and processing them in my digital darkroom with software to produce surreal high dynamic range images (HDR).
I enjoy the Photo Club training classes—when they don’t conflict with my time on the golf course—and field trips, especially the socializing at lunch.
I’m constantly looking to shoot rusty or old outdoors stuff. I also like to do close ups of bugs and flowers. My next goal is to do night motion studies with car lights making long streaks of multi-color lights.
