Chuck Dashiell

At the age of 10 Chuck bought his first Kodak Brownie camera for $3.00 and started photographing his family, friends and school mates in a very small farming community in central Washington State.  After graduating high school he joined the United States Air Force and when stationed in upstate New York  he met and married his wife Judy of 45 years.  They have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.  While stationed in Okinawa for 3 year he acquired an Argus C3 35 mm camera and shot and process 100’s of rolls of E6 extrachrome slide film (35 cents for the film and 25 cents a roll to process) - almost as good as digital.

After leaving the Air Force he went to work for the 3M Company / Imation as a Field Service Engineer/Manager for 33 years living in Colorado, Iowa, Texas (Dallas & Austin) and Minnesota, retiring in 2002 and moving to Sun City. Chuck enjoys Photography, Computers and is the webmaster for the Photography, Visual Arts, and Woodworkers Clubs. Judy enjoys volunteering at The Caring Place, TWP Special Friends and Playing Cards.
