Feature Photographer Ruby Pecot

Before my husband, Bob, and I moved to Sun City in 2005, I was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Two children and five grandsons in the Austin area prompted my move here.

The Louisiana Photographic Society, of which I was a member for many years, is a very large, extremely active photo club which hosted the 50^th annual GSCCC Conference in Baton Rouge and is responsible for increasing my interest in photography.

Photography has been my passion for several years but since moving here and participating in the numerous workshops, classes and SIGS offered I’ve learned a great deal and hope it will reflect in the quality of the images I produce. Although I enjoy all areas of photography my favorite is macro, however, I’m very anxious to learn more about Digital Infrared Photography.
