Feature Photographer Charlie Byers

During my five years in Georgetown I have developed passions that were previously casual interests. These include woodworking, gardening and most infectiously photography. It all began as a ten-year-old Montreal Canada with a Brownie Hawkeye. Later I graduated to a Canon SLR, mainly used for family photographs. As our nest emptied, I gradually lost interest in film cameras. My Panasonic FZ28 rekindled an interest. I love exploring and often make photographic treks.

In real life I am married to Rosemary Barrett Byers, who is a musician and stage director. My three daughters and four grandchildren are distributed around the country.
